March 18, 2025 – BackStop Neural proudly congratulates Dr. Jason Carmel, Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer, on his appointment as Chief of the Division of Child Neurology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. In addition to his new leadership position, Dr. Carmel will continue his groundbreaking work as Executive Director & Research Director of the Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center and Principal Investigator of the Movement Recovery Laboratory, where he focuses on restoring movement in individuals with spinal cord injury and neurological conditions.
